I'd like to share some information that I found available in connection with my current investment, Wireless Age Communications, Inc., stock symbol WLSA.PK. To briefly summarize what attracted me to this opportunity, my aspiration begins with management's successful past, and ends with government initiatives being made readily available for companies delivering renewable energy solutions. John G. Simmonds, CEO, is an individual who has earned a reputation of turning nothing into something; garbage into gold. In several distinct cases he managed and founded multi-million, if not multi-billion, enterprises from scratch. Earlier this afternoon I made a rare discovery. While seeking background information on CEO, John Simmonds, I happened to come across Sunbay Management. The concept is quite simple: what I know based on my conversation with Simmonds and the latest press issued, (Source), is that using Plasma Gasification technology, the company intends to construct a plant that will intake feedstock (municipal waste as an example) and output electricity. I also know that this project will be based out of Ontario. Therefore having come across a Graham Simmonds, who is John Simmonds' son as I confirmed, this is either an acquisition target, takeover target or partnership opportunity. Another clue that gave this one away was the Chapleau Renewable Energy Project that Newlook, Simmonds' TSX based company released only a few months back. They happened to also be associated to Sunbay in another area, for another project: Source
I am now confident in saying that Wireless Age's project will take place in Port Hope, Ontario. To my surprise I also recently found that among their partners is listed Europlasma, one of the largest plasma gasification entities in the world. The name was also familiar because I just so happened to come across them in a report listing companies involved with Plasma Gasification technology: Source.
My intent is to rediscover the connection between these two parties, that is, Sunbay Port Hope and Wireless Age. I would imagine that the company will be releasing some news pertaining to their intent in constructing a waste to energy facility operating with plasma gasification technology, perhaps in Sunbay's Port Hope, Ontario. The beauty of this project is that the company will qualify for government grants immediately once they meet criteria with a location and secure a reliable source of feedstock (trash). In Ontario, waste management has become a very sensitive issue and any alternative method, especially one that is environmentally friendly, would be widely accepted.
Please feel free to continue your own investigation into this matter and investment opportunity. After having spoken with Simmonds several times, and basked in his knowledge of this business and attentiveness to detail, I strongly encourage any dedicated investor to pick up their phone and give him a call. I have benefited tremendously in my understanding of what he is trying to build and the opportunity that he is trying to take advantage of, namely the Green Energy Act and an effective solution to several political and environmental issues.
